Shore Monitoring & Research is a national and international operating survey- and consultancy company focussed on the hydraulic engineering market. Shore combines in depth knowledge of a wide range of survey techniques with knowledge and insight in the hydraulic domain. Since 2009 governments, knowledge institutes, engineering companies and contractors have been served with advice to their data related questions. The services of Shore vary from a single survey to arranging, execution and analysis of complete integral survey campaigns and long-term monitoring projects. Shore differentiates from its competitors by the availability of both bathymetric and topographic survey solutions which can be combined for integral under and above water data acquisition of coastal and riverine systems.

The strength of Shore lies in the ability to think along with the customer at an academic level and subsequently convert data related questions into a concrete, effective and efficient survey strategy. The combination of survey and hydraulic engineering knowledge offers the possibility of active communication with both governmental agencies and engineering companies involved in modelling. In addition, this combination makes Shore flexible to, with the modelling objectives in mind, evaluate the quality of already acquired data in the field and adjust the measurement strategy to achieve better model input.

As a spin-off from the Delft University of Technology, Shore has always remained closely related to the Delft University of Technology, particularly in the field of knowledge development and innovation. Based on own experiences and market demands, Shore carries out innovation and pilot projects to constantly optimize the range of available survey solutions. Innovation and pilot projects are performed independently or in collaboration with knowledge institutes and industry. This results in an up-to-date and innovative range of survey solutions with which the customer can be supported in the most efficient way and according to the latest developments.
